Three Fencers

Established for over fifty years, Ashton Tameside Fencing Club is the most successful competitive club outside London.

We have won over sixty national and international titles. Our members have fenced for all the home countries and have competed in the Commonwealth Games, World Cadet, Junior and Senior Championships, World Student Games and four Olympic Games.

Many members have gone on to become coaches and run clubs of their own throughout the country.

We are a well equipped club with many qualified coaches on hand to help everyone reach their potential.

All are welcome at our friendly sessions: beginners, novices and experienced fencers; competitors, present and future; coaches of every level.

Congratulations to Megan Lomas for being selected to represent England in the Fencing Commowealth Games in Melbourne September 2010.
